What is beauty according to the Bible? Where is your value? In beauty?

Beware of this world, beware of the words said about you whether they flatter or try to break you. Beware of where you place your value!

Your value is in the Creator, in what He designed you to be, in the talents He gave you, in how satisfied He is with you!

1 Peter 3:3-4 Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.

He created you, therefore you are perfectly made. Our creator knows no imperfection. When the devil whispers words of deceit trying to belittle you and sabotage your vision of you, remember you are made to sit at The King’s table. He created you with no attire, you came into this world clothed with the glory of YAH and no one shall take that away from you. Beauty and possessions come and go, but the glory of The Almighty reflecting on you shall never tarnish.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.

Rebuke the spirit that says you shall be valuable or worthy or beautiful, if you wear…if you do…if you say…if your height is…if your nose is…if only your eyes could be like…if only your weight could be…

Let YAH determine in your life what beauty is, rebuke and dismiss all ill intended spirits against you. You are not the clothes you wear, they may be taken away from you. You are not the colour of your eyes…one day they may stop seeing and their colour would be of no value to you. You are not your height, that day you lie for good, would your height be your legacy? All of it is vanity.

You are a child of The Most High, act as such, in that shall your beauty lie!

Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Be encouraged my friend, HE formed you, desired you, planned you, and loved you when no one knew you. When you were not a thought, HE knew you and saw it good to create you!

Psalm 139:13-14 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

I love you but My Creator loved you first!
